Design & Consultation

We begin with an open dialogue to explore your aesthetic preferences, functional needs, and the "feeling" you want to create in your space. Whether you have a fully-formed idea or just a Pinterest board of inspiration, we help bridge the gap between imagination and a buildable concept. For built-ins or cabinetry, I can provide 3D renderings to verify scale and layout before we move to the shop floor.

Material Selection

Once the vision is set, I explore the textures, tones and details that will define the piece. I guide you through a hand-picked selection of premium hardwoods, from the deep, chocolate depths of Walnut to the airy, modern grain of White Oak. Every project utilizes furniture-grade plywood and hardware as well as kiln-dried hardwoods specifically selected for dimensional stability in Utah’s mountain climate.

Every funiture piece, cabiney, or builtin is handmade in my Midway shop, where I combine machinery with traditional woodworking techniques. I focus on structural integrity and precise joinery to ensure your cabinetry and furniture are built for a lifetime of use. My finishing process is where I stand out. Each finish is intentionally selected to complement the wood species, design, and use of the piece rather than applying a one-size-fits-all product. I use eco-friendly, furniture-grade coatings designed to protect the wood while enhancing the natural grain, depth, and character unique to each project.

I take full responsibility for the project until it is set in place. This means using protection during transport and taking extra care to protect your floors and walls while we move pieces into your home. Once on-site, we handle the installation to ensure every piece is perfectly level, aligned, and integrated with your space. We dial in the final details and adjusting hardware so that everything operates smoothly and fits exactly as designed.
